What could be more whimsical than fingerless stripedy gloves? Can’t you just picture yourself wearing these, standing on a field, on a crisp autumn day, holding a cup of hot chocolate while watching the “men folk and chldren” play touch football? {for all the folks not from around here, that’s American football, not what we blasphemously call Soccer. } The pattern (and a correction) can be found at Spud and Chloe. This is the first time I have seen this blog and I must say. I just adore the over all whimsical feel of the place. Have fun checking them out!
Any one who knows me knows that I have a soft spot for sheep (and pink flamingos – but that is a different post.). So when I saw these I just had to post about their super-duper adorableness (I say this is a word and I’m stickin’ to it!).

I came to the site Jo so and sew from Whip-up, [always a fun romp through crafty land]. I think I might need to make one of these. I mean seriously could they be cuter?
Speaking of cute… Jo so and sew, is a super cute blog but it is not surprising that I like it… she is also participating in Pip’s envelope project, which I just learned reading her blog AND she also loves flamingos. [Jo, I love these birds, but I think they may be swans not flamingos. – no worries though they are so fun it doesn’t really matter!] So that’s sheep, flamingos (or swans either are lovely!) and the envelope project. Any wonder I like this blog?
Pip at Meet me at Mike’s has started this great whimsical project. I already sent off an envelope with some goodies and of course, being me, forgot to take a picture of it to post. So I am going to say that I did it on purpose so that my envelope would be a surprise. That is my story and I am sticking with it!
The project ends in six weeks, and Pip is in Australia so if you are in the States don’t dawdle for too long. As much as I love both the Royal Postal Service and the United States Postal Service, we all know things happen with International mail. Anyway if you want to join in the fun follow this link. For those who know me, they know I have a fascination with terrariums. Well today on Design* Sponge they did a cool terrarium round-up with a link to a great article in the New York Times about the terrarium’s comeback.
