Terrariums.

Mini Painter in Terrarium

Terrarium Image taken by Robert Wright for New York Times

For those who know me, they know I have a fascination with terrariums.  Well today on Design* Sponge they did a cool terrarium round-up with a link to a great article in the New York Times about the terrarium’s comeback.  What could be more whimsical that the mini-est of miniature people painting a landscape upon a bed of moss? You can read the New York Times article and slide show here, the design*sponge round-up here, and view a how to video below if you want to make one of your own.

Enjoy!

Don’t Panic – a tribute.

“It must be Thursday, I could never get the hang of Thursdays. ”

-Arthur Dent

The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, {2005 movie } but probably in the original radio play and the book, written by Douglas Adams, but ,  I simply cannot recall at the moment.

And from the same movie, how can you not love the clinically depressed, Marvin?

“Life? Don’t talk to me about life!”

If you have not read, heard or seen any of this extraordinarily hilarious franchise then I strongly urge you to add it to your Netflix que.  And if you are not a Netflix member, what are you waiting for?  It’s the best.

OK then with that…

“So long and thanks for all the fish.”

Where have I been? You ask.

Well no where really. The realities of the brick and mortar world had become foremost in my mind for the past several months and I had to limit my cyber life for a bit. I am back now and hope to have a more balanced relationship with the cyber world. Which means that I still will not post everyday, but perhaps with some yet to be determined frequency in mind. For the moment though I bring you this “happy, happy, joy, joy ” of a  little post office.

Read all about it at Roadside America.
